Victim in Fatal Glenwood Crash Identified

Big Island police today identified the man who died Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in front of Hirano Store as 57-year-old John K. Isabel Jr. of Glenwood.
Police last week said Isabel was northbound on Highway 11 when he turned left into the Glenwood establishment and was struck by a van traveling behind him.
Authorities said Isabel was dead at the scene.
