Fire hydrant flow test set for Māmalahoa Highway near Waimea-Kohala Airport
Customers affected are advised to refrain from washing clothes during the flow test from 10 pm. to midnight on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The Department of Water Supply will conduct a fire hydrant flow test along Māmalahoa Highway in Waimea from 10 p.m. to midnight on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The affected area is between ʻĀhuli Circle and Waimea-Kohala Airport Road, as well as between Kāmala Road and Ala ʻŌhiʻa Road, including the Lualaʻi subdivision and all side roads and lanes in South Kohala.
Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the water supply is restored to normal.
