On Friday, from 9 to 10:30 a.m., the Hawaiʻi Police Department is temporarily closing Māmalahoa Highway (Highway 11) near the 76-mile marker in Hawaiian Ocean View Estates.

The closure will be near the intersection of King Kamehameha Boulevard and Kohala Boulevard to allow police to conduct a follow-up investigation related to a recent fatal traffic collision in the area.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible. Police officers will be on scene to assist with traffic control and public safety during the investigation.

For additional information, please contact the Hawaiʻi Police Department Dispatch at 808-935-3311.
