Rep. Tokuda Earns ‘A’ Grade for Bipartisan Leadership in Congress
US Rep. Jill N. Tokuda (HI-02) earned an “A” grade and a score of 88.2 out of 100 from Bridge Grades for the 119th Congress, ranking her among the top-rated members of the US House of Representatives for bipartisan collaboration.
“When families across Hawaiʻi are struggling to afford everyday life or find a doctor in their community, party lines don’t matter to them,” said Rep. Tokuda. “They just want leaders who will put aside the partisan fighting and get to work. Finding common ground isn’t always easy, but it’s the only way to actually deliver what our people need.”
Bridge Grades is a nonpartisan initiative from the Mediators Foundation that measures whether members of Congress govern collaboratively or divisively. The metric evaluates real bipartisan results. Rep. Tokuda said the grad reflects her continuous work partnering across the aisle to pass meaningful legislation for working families.
