Six Coffee With a Cop outreach events set for West Hawaiʻi this month

Six “Coffee With a Cop” events invite the public to get to know their district police officers in West Hawaiʻi in September.

“Coffee With a Cop” events are intentionally informal with no agenda, allowing for topics of conversation that range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.

The West Hawaiʻi Community Policing “Coffee With a Cop” events will occur from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on the following dates and locations:

• Kona Heaven Coffee Co., 75-5805 Aliʻi Drive, Kailua-Kona, on Wednesday, Sept. 16
• Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Drive, Kailua-Kona, on Friday, Sept. 18
• Hōlualoa Bakery & Cafe, 76-5900 Māmalahoa Highway, Hōlualoa, on Wednesday, Sept. 23
• Burger King of Waimea, 67-1185 Māmalahoa Highway, Waimea, on Thursday, Sept. 24
• Kona Coffee & Tea, 74-5588 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona, on Friday, Sept. 25
• Caffé Florian, 81-6637 Hawaiʻi Belt Road, Kealakekua, on Wednesday, Sept. 30
