UPDATE: Previously missing and endangered 12-year-old located
Update at 5:36 p.m. Aug. 30, 2026: Hawai‘i Police Department reports that previously missing and endangered child Hi‘iakaokalanikapoliopele Pacheco-Suka was located in good health. Hawai‘i Police Department thanks the public for its help and cooperation in this case.

Hi‘iakaokalanikapoliopele is 5-foot-4, 120 lbs., with long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen at 7 p.m. Aug. 29 in Hawaiian Paradise Park, wearing a black hoodie and black headband.
She is considered endangered because of her age.
