UPDATE: Kahakai Boulevard in Pāhoa again OPEN to all traffic

Hawai‘i Police Department reports that Kahakai Boulevard in Pāhoa is again OPEN to all traffic.
Police advised motorists shortly before 9:30 p.m. June 16 to avoid the roadway at the intersection of Niuhi Street because of a structure fire.
Hawai‘i Fire Department was on scene at the time.
Hawai‘i Police Department thanks the public for its cooperation.
