Public water spigots in Hawaiian Ocean View Estates are being restricted to essential needs only, as the well in Ocean View is currently down and being repaired.

While the drinking spigots remain open for community access, they are limited to essential needs, such as drinking, cooking, or personal hygiene. The Hawai‘i County Department of Water Supply will be hauling water from Nā‘ālehu to the Ocean View tank while the well is being repaired.

The standpipe facility for water haulers is closed until repairs can be completed.

Status updates will be issued as necessary and made available at www.hawaiidws.org.

To reach the Department of Water Supply, call 808-961-8050 during normal business hours, 808-961-8790 for after-hour emergencies, or email: dws@hawaiidws.org.
