Public invited to Coffee With a Cop events in West Hawai‘i
As part of their ongoing community outreach to listen to community members, Hawai‘i Police Department is hosting four of its popular Coffee With a Cop events throughout May in the Kona area so the public can get to know their district police officers.

These events are part of the department’s ongoing community outreach to listen to community members. They are intentionally informal and have no agenda.
Topics of conversation can vary widely, from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.
The West Hawai‘i Coffee with a Cop events are all scheduled for 8 to 10 a.m. on the following dates and at the noted venues:
- Wednesday, May 20: Caffé Florian, 81-6637 Māmalahoa Highway, Kealakekua.
- Friday, May 22: Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Drive, Kailua-Kona.
- Tuesday, May 26: Kona Heaven Coffee, Coconut Grove Marketplace, 75-5805 Ali‘i Drive, Kailua-Kona.
- Friday, May 29: Kona Coffee & Tea, Kona Coast Shopping Center, 74-5588 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona.
