Update at 2:18 p.m. on March 6: Telephone service has been restored to Hale Kaulike, the courthouse in Hilo.

There are also outages reported on O‘ahu at the Ronald T.Y. Moon Judiciary Complex in Kapolei, affecting the Kapolei Courthouse, Hale Hoʻomalu Juvenile Detention Center, and Home Maluhia Youth Residential Shelter.

Hawaiian Telcom is working to restore service at both locations. It is unknown how long repairs will take.
