Road closure scheduled on Māmalahoa Highway in Keauhou for utility work

Hawaiian Electric crews will close a portion of Māmalahoa Highway to replace a utility pole in Keauhou tonight, Thursday, Feb. 12.

Crews will close Māmalahoa Highway, approximately half a mile north of Donkey Mill Road, from 10 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, to 6 a.m. Friday, Feb. 13. The work is scheduled overnight to minimize disruptions to the community.

Motorists are advised to use Kuakini Highway as an alternate route and drive cautiously when approaching the work zone. Flaggers will provide traffic control.
