Grand opening of Zippy’s 4th Las Vegas branch showcases Hawaiian traditions, spirit
Zippy’s Restaurants marked the opening of its fourth Las Vegas location on Sunday with a ceremony highlighting Hawaiian culture and local traditions.
The restaurant opened in the Summerlin area on Charleston Boulevard, expanding the Hawai‘i-based chain’s footprint in southern Nevada.
Company officials said the new location reflects Zippy’s continued growth on the mainland while maintaining its island roots.

“Every opening is more than a milestone – it’s our way of carrying the spirit of Hawai’i forward, honoring the people who came before us, and welcoming new guests into our Zippy’s ‘ohana,” said Belma Soliven, senior regional director. “As we celebrate 60 years of serving our community this year, we’re proud to continue sharing the flavors, traditions and aloha spirit that makes Zippy’s feel like home.”
The grand opening featured a traditional Hawaiian blessing and the ceremonial untying of a maile lei by Zippy’s Chief Executive Officer Jason Higa.
The celebration also included Hawaiian chants, hula performances, and a cultural presentation by dancers from the local Paiute tribe.
