Coffee with a Cop events are intentionally informal and are an essential part of the Hawaiʻi Police Department’s ongoing community outreach to listen to community members.

There is no agenda, and topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.

The West Hawaiʻi Community Policing Coffee with a Cop locations this week include:

  • Uncle Kimo’s Coffee Shop from 8 to 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 17, next to the Hōlualoa Garden & Kitchen Restaurant at 76-5897 Kona Belt Road, Hōlualoa.
  • Kona Coffee & Tea from 8 to 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 19, in the Kona Coast Shopping Center, 74-5588 Palani Road, Kailua-Kona.
