Parks and Recreation announces dates for 2026 youth track and field meets

Hawai‘i County Department of Parks and Recreation will host its annual youth track and field meets in February 2026.

The events in Kona and Kea‘au are open to youth ages 6 to 14 years old.

West Hawai‘i Track and Field Meets

  • Dates: Saturday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 21
  • Location: Kealakehe High School Track, 74-5000 Puohulihuli St.

East Hawai‘i Track and Field Meet

  • Date: Saturday, Feb. 28
  • Location: Kamehameha High School Track, 16-714 Volcano Road

Field events will start at 9 a.m., with track events beginning at about 10:30 a.m. for all of the meets.

Track and field events will run simultaneously.

Students who want to participate should first check if their school offers a track and field program.
