Surveillance footage at Hilo store captures images of theft suspects

Hawai‘i Island police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two persons of interest in connection with a theft that occurred at a Hilo business.

On Oct. 11, on the 300 block of Keawe Street, surveillance store footage captured images of two men inside the establishment before the theft.

According to Hawai‘i Island police, both individuals are local males in their 20s. One is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, 165 pounds, with a mustache and dark complexion. The second male is about 5 feet 4 inches tall, 130 pounds, and has a tattoo on his right arm.

Police ask anyone with information regarding the identity of either individual to contact South Hilo Patrol Officer Reyn Nishioka at 808-935-3311 or via email at rnishioka@hawaiipolice.gov. Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 808-961-8300.
