UPDATE: Previously reported missing and endangered 26-year-old man located

Update at 4:17 p.m. Nov. 14, 2025: Hawaiʻi Police Department says previously reported missing and endangered 26-year-old Darius Kanekoa-Gentzler — who was last seen the morning of Nov. 5 in Volcano and reported missing several days later — has been located and is in good health.

The department thanks the public for its assistance and cooperation.

Original post at 3:57 p.m. Nov. 10, 2025: The Hawaiʻi Police Department is searching for 26-year-old Darius Kanekoa-Gentzler, who is missing and endangered.

Kanekoa-Gentzler was last seen at 6:30 a.m. on Kaleponi Road in Volcano on Wednesday, Nov. 5.

He is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 190 pounds and Hawaiian, with a tattoo of “blessed” on the back of his neck and “family” on his hand.
