Playground at Spencer Kalani Schuttle District Park is temporarily closed for repairs

The County of Hawaiʻi Department of Parks and Recreation announced that the playground at Spencer Kalani Schutte District Park in Waimea will be temporarily closed starting Tuesday to accommodate scheduled maintenance.
The repairs to the playground equipment are expected to be finished by Nov. 8.
During the work, the entire playground area will be closed to the public to ensure safety. Construction fencing and warning signs will be installed around the site, and park visitors are asked to respect all posted notices and avoid entering the fenced-off area.
Other park facilities and amenities will remain open for normal use throughout the maintenance period.
