More than 50 vendors to highlight services at 2025 Akamai Living Fair
The County of Hawai‘i Department of Parks and Recreation, in partnership with Hawaiʻi Medical Service Association, will host the 2025 Akamai Living Fair on Thursday in Hilo.

The free community event will feature more than 50 vendors offering resources and services for older adults, along with health and wellness activities for attendees of all ages.
Guests can enjoy cooking demonstrations, free flu shots, health screenings, BINGO, lucky door prizes, line dancing, educational presentations and a teapresso booth.
Akamai Living Fair will run from 9:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 23 at the Edith Kanaka‘ole Multi-Purpose Stadium.
The fair will wrap up with a $100 grand prize giveaway, open to those present at the conclusion of the event.
