Update: Missing man, 77, found in Kona

10:18 a.m. police update: James Jung has been located in Kona.
Original post: The Hawai’i Island Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating missing 77-year-old man, James M Jung.
Jung was last seen at the Kona airport by his wife, Clara Jung, at 5:30 a.m. on Aug. 23. He was wearing a gray t-shirt, shorts by UNK, and a white straw hat.
Jung is six-feet three-inches tall and approximately 200 pounds. He has gray hair and hazel colored eyes.

Police did not provide a photo along with the missing person notice. .
Police ask anyone who may have any information on Jung’s whereabouts to contact the Hawai’i Police Department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
