A fire hydrant flow test is scheduled in Kona for areas along Ali‘i Drive between Palani and Wālua Roads and along Hualālai Road between Ali‘i Drive and Kuakini Highway.

The flow test will take place from midnight to 1 a.m. on July 23.

The affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test.
Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their
drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.

Should you experience any unusual problems during or after the flushing period, call the Department of Water Supply District Supervisor Joshule Johnston at 808-322-0600.
