Keauhou Canoe Club on Big Island seeks applicants for two scholarships

Keauhou Canoe Club is seeking applicants for its annual academic and achievement scholarships.

Two different $2,000 scholarships are available to any West Hawaiʻi graduating senior who has paddled at the club or high school level in the past three years.

The $2,000 James F. Rogers Academic Achievement Scholarship is open to those who also had a 3.0 GPA or higher and demonstrated academic achievement and community participation.

The $2,000 Mike Haines Merit Achievement Scholarship is open to those with strong academics, plus a demonstrated active volunteerism and leadership in school, community, church or employment environments.
