1:33 p.m. April 14 update: Hawai’i Island police report that 16-year-old Andrena Cardoza-Young, who was previously reported as an endangered runaway, was found today in good health.

Original post: Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Andrena Cardoza-Young, who was reported as a runaway.

Due to a medical condition that requires medication, Andrena is considered endangered.

The teen was last seen at Silversword Court in Kurtistown at about 3:30 a.m. and may be operating a white 2013 Toyota Rav-4 bearing Hawai‘i license plate ZCF078.

She is described as having a fair complexion, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 100 pounds, and has green eyes and blonde/brown hair below her shoulders.

Police ask anyone with information on Andrena Cardoza-Young’s whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311, or contact Officer Cody Correia via email at cody.correia@hawaiicounty.gov.
