Update: Hawai‘i Island police find missing Pāhoa man

1:30 p.m. update: Hawaiʻi Island police report that 68-year-old Gary Tabner of Pāhoa, who was previously reported as missing, was located in Pāhoa in good health.

Original post: Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s help in finding Gary Tabner, 68, of Pāhoa, who was reported missing on Tuesday.

Tabner was last seen in the Pāhoa area at the beginning of August.

Tabner has a light complexion, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, approximately 180-200 pounds, with hazel eyes, balding with dark gray hair and a gray mustache. Tabner also speaks with a British accent.

Police ask anyone who may have information on the whereabouts of Tabner to contact the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
