Sept. 5 update: Jameson Madrigal was located in Puna on Aug. 31 in good health.

Original post: Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating 14-year-old Jameson Madrigal of Mountain View who was reported as a runaway.

Madrigal was last seen in the area of Wao Kele Road in Mountain View, on Tuesday, at 6:30 p.m. wearing a gray Kea‘au Middle School t-shirt, shorts, black crocs and a black backpack.

He is a Caucasian male with a heavy build and light complexion, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 180 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Police ask anyone who may have any information on Madrigal’s whereabouts to contact the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
