One-lane road closures for gas work on Keawe Street

The County of Hawaiʻi Department of Public Works will work on the underground gas lines along Keawe Street, beginning today, June 26, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. between Waiānuenue Avenue and Haili Street, weather permitting.

The public is asked to anticipate one-lane road closures.

In addition, no parking will be allowed in this section on Keawe Street during these times; however, pedestrian access will be available.

Please note that both lanes of Keawe Street will remain open to traffic and parking during nighttime hours, weekends, and holidays.

The Department would like to that the community for their patience and understanding throughout the construction project.
