Hawai‘i Island police seek missing 13-year-old in Hilo

The Hawaii Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing child.

Thirteen-year-old Kailea Kekipi is 5 feet tall and 100 pounds with brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen on Aupuni Street in Hilo on June 14 at 10:30 a.m. She wore a green hoodie jacket, a tank top/shorts combination body suit and black sneakers.

Kekipi was initially reported as a runaway but due to her age, she is considered endangered.
