Hawai‘i police seek help finding 16-year-old girl

Hawai‘i police are asking the public’s assistance in locating 16-year-old Shaeylnn Gomes, who was reported as a runaway.

Gomes was last seen on April 4 at 2:45 p.m. in the area of Wailuku and Keawe Streets in Hilo wearing a black spaghetti strap crop top and black denim shorts.

She is described as having a fair complexion, 4 feet 11 inches to 5 feet in height, 100 to 115 pounds, with hazel eyes and shaved eyebrows and short, black buzzed hair (she is known to wear wigs).

Police ask anyone with information about Gomes’ whereabouts to contact the department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311.
