Updated 12:18 a.m. on Dec. 27: Highway 137 has reopened.

Original Post: The Hawaiʻi Police Department has closed Highway 137 between mile marker 13 and 14 and before Pohoiki due to a traffic accident.

The road is expected to be closed for the next several hours. The advisory was made at 9:55 p.m. on Feb. 26.
