UPDATE: Parking lot still full at Hilo International Airport on Saturday

The Hilo International Airport public parking lot reached capacity on Feb. 24 and is still full as of Saturday morning, according to ABM Parking that operates the lot for the State of Hawai’i Department of Transportation.

Anyone with flights on Friday afternoon is advised to take a cab, shuttle or be dropped off. However, ABM Parking said that they are parking people on the grass, but still collecting money to do so.
