Two National Historical Parks on Big Island reopen after storm

Pu’uhonua o Hōnaunau and Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Parks are
open on the Big Island.
Storm cleanup continues at both parks.
All trails at Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historic Park are now open and safe for people to hike.
At Puʻuhonua o Hōnaunau National Historic Park the interpretive trail through the Puʻuhonua and the Royal Grounds are open. The picnic area is also open, but the coastal trail past the picnic area remains closed for survey and assessment.
