The county is reminding the public that Waipiʻo Valley Road will be closed, except to emergency vehicles, next week.

The county Department of Public Works Engineering Division and engineering consultant Haley & Aldrich rescheduled planned field activities on and around the road for 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. from May 16-20. The road will be closed to all traffic going in and out of the valley during the work period.

“We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding,” said a press release from the county.
