The Charles “Sparky” Kawamoto Swim Stadium in Hilo is reopened after it briefly closed last week due to a mechanical issue.

The facility temporarily closed after the filtration system went down on Sunday, April 17. The staff has since resolved the mechanical issue and restored water quality and clarity.
