Big Island Weekly Lane Closures: March 19-25
Hawai‘i Department of Transportation announced lane closures for the week of March 19-25. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.
There will be no daytime roadwork scheduled on Friday, March 25 in observance of Prince Kūhiō Day, unless permitted. Highway 130 special use lanes will not be operational.

HŌNAUNAU
Single lane closure on Kuakini Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 104 and 106, Tobacco Road and Middle Keei Road, on Tuesday, March 22 through Friday, March 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for mulching and mowing.
KEAUHOU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)
Single lane closure on Kuakini Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 118 and 119, Kuakini Highway and Hawai‘i Belt Road, on Saturday, March 19 through Monday, March 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for mulching, tree trimming and mowing.

Single lane closure on Hawai‘i Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction near mile marker 13.8, near Kolekole Beach Park, on Saturday, March 19 through Friday, March 25, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for bridge repair work.
HONOMŪ (24/7 RESTRICTION)

Right lane closure on Hawai‘i Belt Road (Route 19) in the southbound direction near mile marker 15.4, Old Mamalahoa Highway, on Monday, March 21 through Friday, March 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for Hakalau Stream Bridge rehabilitation and testing.
