The state Department of Health reported 533 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 227,817. No new fatalities were reported.
A total of 72 new infections were identified Tuesday on the Big Island. The Civil Defense reports 2,687 active cases, and 32 persons hospitalized.
Today, Tuesday, community testing is scheduled in Hilo Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium from noon to 7 p.m.
