The state Department of Health reported 1,068 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday, bringing the statewide total to 220,356. No new fatalities were reported.
A total of 140 new infections were identified Tuesday on the Big Island. On Monday, The Hawai’i County Civil Defense reported 4,231 active cases, and 29 persons hospitalized.
Today, Tuesday, community testing is scheduled in Hilo at Afook Chinen Civic Auditorium from noon to 7 p.m.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, testing is scheduled in Kona at Yano Hall from 7-8 a.m., Old Kona Airport pavilion from noon to 7 p.m., and at Afook Chinen Civic Auditorium also from noon to 7 p.m.
