3,392 New Cases, 4 Deaths Reported Thursday

The state Department of Health reported 3,392 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the statewide total to 156,932. Four new fatalities were reported.

A total of 162 new infections were identified Thursday on the Big Island. The Hawaiʻi Civil Defense reports 3,780 active cases, and 40 persons hospitalized.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

A total of 5,387 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,114 have died.
