Temporary Closures Scheduled at Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park

Temporary closures are scheduled at Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park this week for helicopter operations to remove invasive, non-native vegetation in the area.

On Tuesday, Dec. 28, Hale Hoʻokipa Visitor Contact Station, parking lot and the main trail from Hale Hoʻokipa to the Honokōhau shoreline will be closed.

On Thursday, Dec. 30, Kaloko Road, Kaloko Parking Lot and Kaloko Picnic Area will be closed.

All closures will be from 6 to 11 a.m. For further information, call the Kaloko-Honokōhau National Historical Park visitor center at 808-326-9057.
