A Hilo District Court judge denied bail for a Puna man accused of a terroristic threatening incident involving a gun within the parking lot of the Hilo Target store.
According to a press release from the Hawaiʻi County Office of the Prosecuting Attorney, 65-year-old Daniel Robertson is being held on bail of $80,000 on charges of first-degree terroristic threatening; place to keep pistol or revolver; carrying or possessing a loaded firearm on a public highway; manufacturing, purchasing or obtaining firearm parts to assemble a firearm having no serial number; and third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug.
On Monday, Dec. 13, Robertson made his initial appearance in Hilo District Court. Judge Jeffrey Hawk, denied Robertson’s request for supervised release or a bail reduction, maintained his bail at $80,000, and ordered that he appear for his preliminary hearing on Dec. 15 in Hilo District Court.
