HPD Seeks Public Help Finding Wanted Mountain View Woman

Authorities seek the public’s help locating a Mountain View woman wanted for questioning in a custodial interference investigation.

Thirty-year-old Marina Cortez is also wanted on an outstanding warrant. Cortez is described as 5 feet, 6 inches, and 120 pounds with hazel-colored eyes and brown-colored hair. She is known to frequent the Puna and Hilo districts.

Hawaiʻi police are asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Cortez to contact Detective Gavin Kagimoto at 808-961-2276, via email at gavin.kagimoto@hawaiicounty.gov, or the police department’s non-emergency number at 808-935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
