DOH Reports 71 New Cases Monday

The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 71 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 87,585. No new COVID-related fatalities were reported.

A total of 3 new infections were identified on the Big Island Monday.

The state’s seven-day average is now 82 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.4%. A map documenting new cases by district throughout all islands can be accessed at the DOH website.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

A total of 5,028 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,018 have died.
