Six New Virus Deaths Reported For Second Straight Day
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 77 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the statewide total to 87,183. Six new COVID-related fatalities were also reported.
A total of 16 new infections were identified on the Big Island Thursday.
The state’s seven-day average is now 95 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.4%.

Out-of-State: 2,868
A total of 5,006 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 1,014 have died.
