DOH Reports 13 COVID-Related Fatalities Thursday
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 112 new COVID-19 cases Thursday, bringing the statewide total to 84,690. Thirteen new COVID-related fatalities were reported.
A total of 28 new infections were identified on the Big Island Thursday. Hawaiʻi County Civil Defense Agency reports 377 active cases, with 18 persons hospitalized.
The state’s seven-day average is now 108 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.7%.

A total of 4,779 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 932 have died.
