DOH Reports 97 New Cases Monday
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 97 new COVID-19 cases Monday, bringing the statewide total to 83,448. No new COVID-related fatalities were also reported.
A total of 28 new infections were identified on the Big Island Monday.
The state’s seven-day average is now 121 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 2.1%.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:
O‘ahu: 57,512
Hawai‘i: 10,914
Maui: 9,458
Kaua‘i: 2,542
Moloka‘i: 239
Lana‘i: 142
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,641
A total of 4,657 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 888 have died.
