DOH Reports 34 New COVID Cases on Big Island
The Hawaiʻi Department of Health reported 134 new COVID-19 cases Friday, bringing the statewide total to 83,020. Three new COVID-related fatalities were also reported.
A total of 34 new infections were identified on the Big Island Friday. The state’s seven-day average is now 115 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.8%.

Maui: 9,422
Kaua‘i: 2,514
Moloka‘i: 239
Lana‘i: 141
Pending: 0
Out-of-State: 2,621
A total of 4,629 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 880 have died.
