HPD Searching For Kona Man Reported Missing

Hawai‘i Island Police are searching for a missing Big Island man.

HPD is seeking community assistance to locate 40-year-old Ian Charles Resh of Kailua-Kona, who has been reported missing by his family. 

Resh was last seen on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, around 6:30 am at Kohanaiki Beach Park in Kailua-Kona wearing a black t-shirt, black board shorts and carrying a black back pack.

He is described as Caucasian, standing 5-feet, 10-inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. He has numerous visible tattoos on both of his arms.

Police ask anyone with information on Resh’s whereabouts to call the department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.
