Missing Man Found in Ka‘u

A Big Island man reported as missing has been found.

The Hawaiʻi Police Department reported that 40-year-old Travis “Pono” Aukai, of Ka‘u, was located in that district and in good health on July 9, 2021.

Community engagement is often vital to solving local reports of missing persons.
