The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 36 new cases of coronavirus Sunday. The statewide total is now 37,011. No new COVID-related deaths were reported.

The state’s two-week average is 49 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 0.9%.

A DOH map that tracks cases by district across all islands can be accessed on the department’s website.

The island-by-island case count is as follows:

A total of 2,381 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 506 have died.
