One New Death Reported
The Hawai‘i Department of Health reported 119 new cases of coronavirus Sunday. The statewide total is now 36,246. One new COVID-related death was reported.
63 new cases of the virus were identified on the Big Island Sunday, per DOH statistics. The state’s two-week average is 52 new cases daily, with a test positivity rate of 1.1%.

A total of 2,327 individuals have been hospitalized as a result of COVID-19 infection since the pandemic began, while at least 500 have died.
