Update: Some Power Restored After Outage in Pāhoa
UPDATE: As of 12:20 p.m., Hawaiian Electric reports some power has been restored to customers in the areas of 1220p Kapoho/Pāhoa Rd/Vacationland/Nanwale Estates.
The outage is a result of a tree branch in power lines. Officials say some customers remain without power until crews complete repairs.

Hawaiian Electric reported a power outage in the Kapoho/Pāhoa Rd/Vacationland/Nanwale Estates areas this morning, May 27.
As of 10 a.m., 1,943 customers were without power. Crews have responded to the scene and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
