Police Seek Public’s Help Finding Kamuela Runaway

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating a Kamuela teen reported as a runaway by his family.

Fifteen-year-old Kaleo James Genda was last seen in the Kohala Ranch subdivision on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, around 6 p.m. leaving the area on a dirt bike.

Kaleo is described as being part Hawaiian, 6 feet tall, 200 pounds, with short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray/bluish t-shirt and white shorts. He is known to frequent Kapa‘au in North Kohala.

Hawai‘i Police ask anyone with information on Kaleo’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at 808-935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 808-961-8300. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
